Skills for Wellbeing
Hi, I’m Nina, a Teacher of the Alexander Technique and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist, offering lessons and treatment in Chiswick, West London. I also teach Alexander Technique all over the world online.
My approach to optimising health and well-being is to address the underlying causes of acute and chronic conditions which might be causing pain, tension and stress. Through these approaches, I am able to work with you as a whole person and your emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical health, which are all interconnected. Both approaches are client-led, involving gentle contact with the hands, leaving you with a profound sense of well-being. Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy and the Alexander Technique are continually being supported by the latest medical science.
I have been working in the field of health for over 30 years. First in the NHS in mental health and paediatrics, then as an Alexander Technique Teacher and, more recently, as a Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist. I have worked with people of all ages and conditions, and have benefitted from working in hospitals, the community, secondary, drama and music schools. As a mother of three children, understanding the challenges of family life also informs my work. I have lived and worked in the Middle East and Africa, which has exposed me to the nuances of different religions and cultures, and has greatly enriched my work.
People come to see me for many reasons. It may be they are seeking help with physical problems such as headaches, migraines, neck, back, and shoulder pain. Others are looking for ways to alleviate stress, anxiety, or low mood. Many people see me to enable them to reconnect to a sense of health and well being.
Please explore below the benefits of Alexander Technique and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, and I would be delighted to hear from you if you would like to experience for yourself.
